At JT Magbe Contracting, LLC we are fully equipped to handle any land clearing project. From lots that require the removal of small trees and brush to large acreage that may require the removal of multiple large trees, we are ready to take on any land clearing project. The desired use of the cleared area will play a part in how the area is cleared. Methods that may work well for future commercial sites may not be the best choice for your back yard. We will take the time to meet with you and discuss your plans for the area and put together an approved plan before work begins. It is important to us that our finished land clearing project leads seemlessly into to your desired usage of the area.

We will approach your tree removal project in the safest, most efficient and cost effective way possible. By taking all elements of the tree removal project into consideration, we are able to offer you the best tree removal service possible at a competitive cost. At JT Magbe Contracting, LLC we take the time to listen to your tree removal project details and work with you to devise a plan that is safe, effective, and efficient. We will never recommend tree removal when it is not warranted. Some tree removal companies try to instill a sense of fear in perspective clients by telling them a tree has a higher probability of failure than it actually does. On the opposite side of this, there are companies that almost always recommend trimming and do not properly assess the risk of the tree. Our arborists are experienced with hazardous trees and trees in close proximity to property or utilities. They are properly trained in diagnosing the situation and taking proper action for a successful tree removal project. We will provide you with all of the facts about your current tree situation and help you to make an informed decision regarding tree removal.

Stump grinding is an essential part of the tree removal process. Typically the tree removal crew will leave the remaining stump 4-6 inches above the ground for the stump grinder to take care of. The stump grinder has a rotating cutting wheel on the front of the machine that has carbide teeth attached to it. Once the Stump grinder is maneuvered into place, the wheel will be engaged and the grinding will start. The cutter wheel will work back and forth over the stump grinding about 2 inches at a time. The typical stump will be grinded to a depth of 6-8 inches below the grade. After the stump grinding process is done all of the mulch will be raked into a pile and left to settle.
